Travel more sustainable!


West Bangal is a state in Eastern India, with border to Bangladesh. It is the third contributor to India’s GDP (gross domestic product), but at the same time a very low Human Development Index level and a high rate of poverty. The capital city is Kolkara (before Calcutta) and the state has around 90 million inhabitants. The languages spoken are Bengali and English.

While in Kolkata, do not miss to visit Mother Earth, selling organic and fair trade clothes, interior, food items etc.
