Travel more sustainable!


Kerala is a state in southwestern India. It has a higher Human Development Index than any other state in India and also the highest litteracy rate, 95%. According to a survey conducted by Transparence International in 2005, Kerala is the least corrupt state in India. Kerala has witnessed a significant migration of its inhabitants to the Gulf states and they send remittances back home which is imporant for the economy.

There are around 32 million people in Kerala. The capital city is Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum). The language spoken in Kerala is Malayalam.
